DJ SET | Kap Slap – Slapcast Vol. 1

“Fresh off his spring tour, Kap Slap has just made everyones summer with the announcement of a new bimonthly hour mix series entitled the “Slapcast.” Since Kap Slap started a new page in his career transitioning to original material, many of us were left concerned we’d never see his unsurpassed signature style bootlegs again. Luckily, Kap Slap has answered our prayers and released his latest mix, which features those bootlegs we love oh so much. The mix starts off HUGE with an edit from one of the most epic tracks out right now, Icona Pop’s, “I Love it.” Whether you need an hour long mix of continuous bangers for the gym, car, or parties, click the download button below and click the “more” button to see the tracklist.” – FNT.com

CONCERT RECAP | Krewella – May 2nd, 2013 | Orpheum Theatre – Madison, WI

Wow, we have to give it up to Krewella who put on a tremendous show last night at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, WI. Last night’s show exceeded our expectations. Great lights, sold-out crowd, and lots of familiar faces compensated for the earlier dreary, cold, and rainy day. However, it wasn’t exactly dry inside–no actually it was surpassingly humid, with one of the Yousaf sisters actually commenting on the sweat level. The event started out pretty great–not sure who the opener was, but they dropped it hard and didn’t leave that huge disparity that so often occurs between the opener and headliner. If anyone knows who opened, post in the comments section or shoot us an email.

Once again we have to give an enormous shout-out to Prime Social Group for continually bringing phenomenal acts to cities across the country. Always well-organized and a great party so go to their site and check out if there’s a show coming to a city near you.
