Dubstep/Glitch/Funk DJ GRiZ from Detroit just released Mad Liberation, an album that’s got some raw sounding tracks. The songs aren’t necessarily what we’d call HD, but the scratchiness reminds us of vinyl attributes (yes, perhaps slightly exaggerated). GRiZ triggers the comparison to a funkier, dingier Big Gigantic –but in the good kind of dingy, think character–his Detroit origin adding its influence.
