INDIE-TRONIC | Incorporated Elements – “Somebody That I Used To Know (Remix)”

By far the most unique remix I’ve heard on the most remixed song of the past 6 months comes from Incorporated Elements. While HYPER CRUSH still has a place in my heart for the ultimate techno remix to this track, IE puts a new spin on it and breaks out of the mold of dance remixes and mashups that have caused a cluster f— around the Internet. Keeping the indie roots of Gotye in tact, IE adds a few soft electronic elements (think Pretty Lights) to give it it’s own sound and refresh the track once again.

The Voice may have just crowned their winner this past week, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Collin would destroy anyone on any of those singing shows. Check out his latest cover of Maroon 5′s “Payphone”. I was hoping for him to do something with the Wiz verse…but we can’t win em all I guess.
