AP Bop – “Good Night” f/ Matty Fee of Gate City Squad | ELECTRO-HOP
A hip hop group from Bethesda, MD that consist of Carson (C3K) a sophomore in college, his little brother Connor (C3J) a senior in high school, and Nico (Dreis) who makes the beats. This song is from their freshman mixtape, “Whine & Cheese” which is due out later this month. It’s called “Good Night” and features Matty Fee from Gate City Squad on the hook with C3K doing the first verse, C3J doing the second verse and them splitting the third. The original beat is the blessed beat by Mochi Beats that Dreis has added some drums and what not.

DefSeed – “Falling Star” (prod. Doug Bogan) | HIP-HOP
This is Doug Bogan’s first attempt at production. He samples Falling Star (R3K remix) by KiD CuDi and handles all post-production work for the track. DefSeed (Darren Harris) is a new artist who also attends Bucknell University with Doug. DefSeed has a mixtape, ‘Reality Check’, that will be released in the coming month or so after he reaches 100 fans on his brand new facebook page. This is the first leak off of his debut project.

Bassline is an emerging electro-pop group out of the greater Boston area. They formed in the winter of 2010 and released their first single, “Where You Wanna Go,” in the March of 2011. The remix to the Mischa Daniels hit instantly saw success as it appeared on numerous blogs and became a party favorite at colleges across the country as well as international clubs. The group has recently been working with producer/engineer Steve Catizone (Taio Cruz, Flo Rida, Pussy Cat Dolls, Ludacris, Jojo) on developing their sound. They plan to release a mixtape in the fall and tour east coast campuses and take their movement to the next level.

He’s been rapping for about 9 years now. He has 8 mixtapes out on Datpiff and this summer he is working on his 9th to be titled “This Is Not A Mixtape 2.” He’s from Mount Vernon, NY and attends the University of Delaware and the mixtape is going to drop right before (or during) the fall semester. He’s a chill, yet highly dedicated and determined individual who is extremely versatile when it comes to music. Kiddo can spit on anything from any genre (He even has a dubstep type mixtape with him rapping on the MTV show Skins soundtrack). Most notably, he is recognized as one of the most skilled and quick-witted freestylers around (especially when he performs around campus).
